Recently ZTE launched it’s flagship smartphone, the Nubia Z17 with high end specifications. It came with the top of the line Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with an insane 8GB of RAM. Now, ZTE has decided to release a watered down version of the handset with the same body. It is dubbed the Nubia Z17 Lite.
The Z17 Lite features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1080×1920 pixels(403ppi). It is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 653 SoC coupled with the Adreno 510 GPU. This is backed up by 6GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage with no support for SD card expansion. It includes all basic connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and LTE. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Following the ongoing trend, the ZTE Z17 Lite features a dual camera setup on the rear. It consists of two 13MP sensors with an LED flash. A 16MP front facing camera is present for selfies and video calls. The device draws juice from a 3,200 mAh battery and there is support for QuickCharge 3.0.
The Nubia Z17 Lite will go on sale on September 6 with a price tag of CNY 2,499( approximately $379).
