The ZTE Blade A2 PLUS was launched in India as a Flipkart exclusive smartphone on Monday following its announcement on Friday. The ZTE Blade 2 PLUS sports a  metal unibody design with a rear mounted fingerprint scanner.

It sports a 5.5 inch full-HD display(1080×1920 pixels) and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6750T octa-core SoC (four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.5GHz and four at 1GHz) paired with 4GB of RAM and Mali T860 GPU. A massive 5000mAh battery is included which supports fast charging. ZTE claims that the smartphone can last up to 22 hours of talk time.

The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Mifavor 3.5OS. It comes with 32 gigabytes of internal storage with an option to extend the storage via a microSD card (upto 128GB) through the hybrid dual-SIM slot present in the smartphone. It also comes equipped with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and VOLTE support which makes it compatible with Jio Services.

The ZTE Blade A2 PLUS houses a 13-megapixel rear camera which supports Phase detection auto focus, dual-LED flash and 1080p video. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor with the inclusion of a screen-flash feature.

Our Blade-series smartphone, ZTE Blade A2 Plus comes with 4G LTE, VoLTE support and host of other features at an effective price. Through this phone, we take the first step to reach millions of Indians who are going digital. By eliminating multiple external factors, we want to bring the best phones that industry has to offer and at an effective price.

ZTE is making strides in the right direction and is trying to emulate the success that Xiaomi is enjoying with its budget smartphones. The ZTE Blade A2 Plus has gone on sale in India on Monday. The smartphone is exclusively available via Flipkart, priced at Rs. 11,999. The smartphone is only available in its 4GB RAM variant in the country.
