With increasing app sizes and increasing resolution for videos, a faster data connection is the need for the hour. 4G LTE is the fastest data connection option we have presently but ZTE has gone a step further and introduced the World’s first 5G smartphone.
The device is called the “Super Generation Gigabit”and boasts speeds upto 1Gbps!
“We are thrilled to introduce the world’s first smartphone with download speeds up to 1Gbps. With the new device, the way people stay connected will be changed forever. Focusing on 5G technologies will be one of the key priorities of ZTE’s global development. ZTE will be very glad to leverage its technology strength and experience in 5G to cooperate with government and business partners to discuss and facilitate the upcoming 5G era.” said a ZTE spokesperson.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC and integrates X16 LTE modem, utilizes a combination of carrier aggregation, 4×4 MIMO antenna technology, and 256-QAM modulation to achieve LTE download speeds that are up to 10x faster than LTE devices.
ZTE’s technology strength is amazing in 5G+Pre5G Giga+ MBB solutions and hence the ZTE Gigabit phone is three times as powerful at data processing capability in the current network. This is an important step from ZTE and introducing 5G to 4G networks and providing worldwide careers with Pre 5G solutions.
5G will refine the smartphone experience a lot and bring it to a whole new level. The speed of 1Gbps will improve users’ lifestyles by allowing for 360° panoramic VR video, instant cloud storage, fast downloads of ultra Hi-Fi music and movies, and instant APP, which removes the need for download or installation of applications.
In the field of technology, someone has to always take the initiative first for the tech to nurture and become better. ZTE has taken the right step and surprised everyone at the Mobile World Congress by introducing such a revolutionary device.
The ZTE booth at MWC is located at 3F30, Hall 3, Fira Gran Via, Barcelona. Anyone can visit the booth and give the latest technology a try.
