ZTE, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer who had earlier launched the ZTE Axon 7 has now launched the ZTE Axon 7s in China. ZTE has earlier launched the ZTE Axon 7 which was the best Axon lineup smartphone from the company. The phone had all the flagship specifications like the latest Snapdragon processor, premium build and cost half the price of other flagship phones. Now the company has decided to launch the smartphone in China with an improved processor. The ZTE Axon 7 had the latest Snapdragon 820 processor at the time of launch but the ZTE Axon 7s has an upgrade to the Snapdragon 821 chipset.

As for the specifications of the phone, ZTE Axon 7s comes with 5.5-inch AMOLED display same as the Axon 7 and it is expected to come with the same Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. The Snapdragon 821 SoC will be accompanied with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The company has officially confirmed the Axon 7s to feature dual camera setup, but the camera resolutions are still unknown. While the company already released the Android 7.0 Nougat based MiFavor UI update for the Axon 7, the Axon 7s might come with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat at launch. Apart from the few improved internals, ZTE has mentioned to bring the enhanced security features with this new device.

Also worth noting is that the fingerprint sensor on this device can be found on the rear same as its predecessor. It comes with an all-metal unibody design along with a 2.5D glass on the front. From the above-featured image, we can see the redesigned top bezel grill.

The ZTE Axon 7s is not expected to come in U.S as the company has already launched the ZTE Axon 7. The availability of this phone for other parts excluding China is not known yet. Stay tuned as we know more on this.
