ASUS Rolls Out VoLTE Support for Zenfone 3 Range

Many top smartphone makers like Samsung, OnePlus, and HTC have already started rolling out Oreo updates for their top flagships. One particular manufacturer which has stayed mum on the subject is Asus. However, a new report has surfaced that Android Oreo for the flagship ZenFone 4 line is due by the end of this month. This is the stable version of Android we are talking about.

The Asus ZenFone 4 line showed up late this year as the Taiwanese firm launched the line in September with Android 7.1.1. The brand recently start3ed testing beta version of Android Oreo in November.

Now, there’s official confirmation from the ZenTalk forums that the said update is arriving in December. We’d like to point out that this update would arrive for the ZE554KL variant. The update is on time with other major brands also promising an upgrade in the same month. Although there are still no dates, at least ZenFone 4 users have not been kept in the dark completely.

Recently, last year’s flagship ZenFone 3 has also been spotted with the new ZenUI that will come with Oreo. Among the brands that have already released Oreo are Sony, HTC, and OnePlus. The list will lengthen soon as we reach the end of December.
