We had first heard about the Xioami Mi A1 just over two weeks back. It had surfaced on Xiaomi’s own website with details regarding its SAR values. Initial thoughts and speculation were that the upcoming handset was a Google Android One project device based on the Xiaomi Mi 5X. Now, the smartphone recently surfaced on the popular benchmarking suite, Geekbench.

The smartphone was listed as the Xioami Mi A1 on Geekbench and listed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone was running on a build of Android v.7.1.2., Nougat which is most likely at stock. With these specifications and software, the Mi A1 posted scores of 852-points and 3837-points in the single and multi-core tests respectively. These theoretically put the smartphone beneath the Mi 5X in the multi-core results while being tied on the single core results. Hopefully, the scores can be improved over time with better optimisation since the smartphone has competent hardware specifications.
