Due to it being where it is, the Riva is most likely going to feature in the Redmi range of products. From its Geekbench page, we can see that it has been listed featuring a quad-core CPU based Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. The CPU has been clocked @1.4GHz which narrows it down to a Snapdragon 42* series chipset. Apart from this, the page also shows us that the Riva comes with 3 GB of RAM. On top of this hardware, the smartphone is running Android v.7.1.2, which is the latest flavour of Nougat.

Even so, the Riva only manages to muster 560 points in the single-core benchmark and 916 in its multi-core run. This puts it behind even the Redmi 4A, one of the most basic smartphones from Xiaomi packing Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 chipset. From the benchmark results, it seems that this would be the cheapest smartphone from the company’s stable even below that. We should be finding out soon enough.
