Xiaomi has just recently released the Xiaomi Mi6 smartphone in an event in China. The Xiaomi Mi6 is yet to launch in other countries but the handset is already available in China. After the launch of Xiaomi Mi6, there were reports coming from China about a new device Xiaomi is working on. This device was reported to be the youth edition of the Xiaomi Mi6 expected to be a lite version. Later on, the Xiaomi CEO rejected the reports of the Xiaomi Mi6 youth device and said that no such device is in the works.
Now, we have seen one leaked device benchmark on GFXBench which suggest that one such device is in the works although not the youth edition. The benchmark test of one particular device, which is named as Jason and has a model number of Xiaomi Mi6C showed up on GFXBench. This device is expected to be a smaller variant of the Xiaomi Mi6C. The benchmark test also reveals the specifications expected from the device.
According to the listing, the Xiaomi Mi6C will 5.1-inch Full High Definition display and is powered by 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. Moreover, Mi6C comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and runs on EMUI 8.0. Plus, there is a 12MP rear camera that is part of the device.
The listing shows that the Xiaomi Mi6C will come with a 3MP front camera but we expect the device to come with atleast 5MP or 8MP camera on the front same as the Xiaomi Mi6. Stay tuned as we know more about the Xiaomi Mi6C.
