Rising smartphone maker Vivo launched a new mid-range smartphone for the Y series in India. The Vivo Y69 according to Vivo brings “premium design and superior camera features at an ideal price point”. The phone costing Rs. 14,990 will be sold both online and offline from September 11. E-stores like Amazon and Flipkart will have stocks to sell the devices soon. Vivo plans to offer Champagne Gold and Matte Black color variants for the handset.
Let’s lay out the spec sheet here for you. The Vivo Y69 comes with a 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6570 assisted by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. It has a 5.5-inch HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 guarding it. The dual-SIM phone runs Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed up by a 3,000 mAh battery.
Vivo believes the 16 MP Samsung S5K3P3ST camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture and features like Moonlight Glow light, Bokeh, Group Selfie, and Live Photo will be enough to sell the phone to the Indian public. The rear camera is a 13 MP Samsung S5K3L8 sensor with dual LED flash and a f/2.2 aperture.
As for the connectivity, options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB.
