There have been a lot of rumours and leaked information about the Vivo X20 lately and Vivo is all set to launch the smartphone in China next week. While earlier rumours did suggest that the Snapdragon 660 will power the device, a new Geekbench listing seems to confirm that.
In the listing, we can see that the device is mentioned with the model number PD1710. The SoC powering the Vivo X20 is an octa-core processor clocked in at 1.8GHz. This is in fact the newly released Snapdragon 660 SoC by Qualcomm. This is coupled with 6GB of RAM and storage information is not known yet.
The Snapdragon 660 seems to a very good performer as the Geekbench scores are pretty high. The Vivo X20 scores ‘1593’ points in Single Core and ‘5770’ points in Multi core. This is great as even the Snapdragon 835, the flagship SoC from Qualcomm barely scratches 2000 points on Single Core performance.
The Vivo X20, just like most of the smartphones released in 2017 is set to come with a bezel-less display with a very high screen-to-body ratio. While it was earlier rumoured that the Vivo X20 will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor embedded into the display, leaked images suggest that a rear facing fingerprint will make the cut. Again, much like most smartphone of 2017, the Vivo X20 will house a dual-camera setup at the rear. The sensor information and megapixel count is not known.
The Vivo X20 is all set to be launched in China on September 21. What do you think about the Vivo X20? Let us know in the comments below.
