The VIVO X20 has surfaced yet again, this time live images of the smartphone have appeared. The X20 only recently had press renders of itself leaking to the public showing what the handset would look like from the front. In these recently leaked live images though we can see the front as well as the rear profile of the handset.
These images first appeared on the Chinese microblogging site, Weibo and show us the white coloured version of the smartphone.
You will notice that the smartphone has rather narrow side bezels with what looks like equivalent forehead and chin bezels. The display is the most prominent aspect of the handset but that is pretty much the norm these days with shrinking frame sizes. Flipping the phone over we can see a camera setup very similar to Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus, which might allude to a dual camera solution on the X20. There is a fingerprint scanner at the back as well.
It is being speculated that VIVO will actually release two variants of the X20; The regular model and a “Plus” model. Currently, the only certainty is that the device display will likely feature an 18:9 “tall” aspect ratio, the same found on LG’s current flagship. Further, the handset might feature an all metal unibody design although befitting the premium stature of the device this might be clad under Corning’s Gorilla Glass.
The VIVO X20 is expected to sport a 5-inch full-HD (1080 x1920) display while the Plus model will have a 5.5-inch panel with the same resolution. Apart from that, both the smartphones are expected to have the same internal hardware composed of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. All of this is speculation and hearsay at this point so we should wait for something more official or substantial to leak before confirming.
