We have heard several rumours about the rear secondary display that the Meizu Pro 7 will sport. While the early images looked sketchy, several other leaks hinted that this could indeed happen. The secondary display would reportedly show details like the date, time and even notifications from stock and third party apps. It may also include a ‘mirror display’ functionality for selfies and video calls.
Now, a new video has popped up on the web showcasing the secondary display in action. While many images have been leaked before, this is the first time we are seeing a video. At this point of time, we are pretty sure that the secondary display will make the cut with the Meizu Pro 7.
Talking about the specifications, the Meizu Pro 7 will be powered by the MediaTek Helio X30 SoC, a chip built on the 10nm manufacturing process. The smartphone will sport a 5.2-inch display with Full HD resolution. However, the size and resolution of the secondary display is not known. It will be interesting to see how Meizu implements it. The phone will come in 4GB RAM/64GB ROM, 6GB RAM/128GB ROM and 8GB RAM/128GB ROM variants.
As for optics, the Meizu Pro 7 will feature a dual-camera setup consisting of two 12MP IMX386 sensors. The same sensor is being used on the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and the Xiaomi Mi 6.
Meizu has officially announced that it is unveiling the Meizu Pro 7 on July 26.
