Vertu, a luxury phone company once owned by Nokia, unveiled their latest luxury feature phone called Vertu Signature Cobra. Vertu Signature Cobra is a limited edition feature phone that is offered for an outrageous amount of CNY 2.47 million (nearly Rs. 2.3 crores). Vertu Signature Cobra is available for purchase online via Chinese e-commerce platform. If you are one of the interested buyers of this limited edition device, you can pay a down payment of CNY 1,000 (Rs. 10,000) and later the rest of the amount as soon as the device arrived in your hands.

The device will also be delivered to its customers by a helicopter. Like what? Yes, you heard it right. If you buy this device, you need to ready your helipad! This isn’t even shocking to us considering the price of the device.

But the main selling point of this device is not its basic functionality or the helicopter delivery. Vertu Signature Cobra is designed by a France-based jewellery brand, Boucheron. The design features 439 rubies and 2 emerald eyes following the cobra design. There are also many other gems employed on the device. GizChina said that this new Vertu phone features 488 parts and was assembled in the UK, all handmade for precision.

Only eight units of Vertu Signature Cobra will be available across the globe. GizChina also reported that only one unit will be available in China. So if you really want this device that you’re willing to bet all your property, get yours now. Just don’t tell your mom about it.
