It is powered by the Kirin 960 SoC coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It also features a dual camera setup on the rear and a large 4000 mAh battery. How to Unlock the Bootloader of Honor 8 Pro

Step 1. Visit this page and create a Huawei ID.

Step 2. Using the ID, fill out and submit your details through this form, to get the unlock permissions.

Step 3. To know the Unlock code, dial * # * # 1357946 # * # * on the dialer of your device. Fill the requested fields and then Submit.

Step 4. Note down the unlock code you received.

Step 5. Open the ADB installation folder, right-click on white space while holding down the Shift key. Then choose ‘open command prompt here’ option.

Step 6. Next, Connect your device to the PC and make sure your PC has compatible USB drivers.

Step 7. In the ADB command window, type the following command to boot your Honor 8 Pro into fastboot mode.

adb reboot bootloader

Step 8. Then to unlock the bootloader, type command below and hit Enter. Replace the word KEY in the command line with the unlock key you’ve received earlier.

fastboot oem unlock unlock KEY

Step 9. Next, type the following command to reboot the device.

fastboot reboot

How to Install TWRP on Honor 8 Pro

Step 1. Open the ADB command window and connect your phone to your PC in fastboot mode.

Step 2. Rename the TWRP image file to recovery.img and move it into the ADB installation folder. (Default location C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot )

Step 3. Boot the device into fastboot mode and type the following command to install the TWRP image on your device.

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

This command will successfully install the TWRP recovery on your device.

How to Root Honor 8 Pro

Step 1. Boot it into TWRP recovery by pressing and holding the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously for 8-9 seconds.

Step 2. When you enter the TWRP for the first time, Create a backup with unmodified system partition and then proceed with rooting.

Step 3. Go back to the main menu and select Install option.

Step 4. Choose the storage, Navigate to the PHH Superuser zip file and select it.

Step 5. Swipe right to flash the zip and then select the Reboot system button which appears on the bottom, upon completion of the process.

Step 6. First boot may take some time, so be patient and when your device turns up, install the PHH Superuser app.

Step 7. Using the PHH Superuser app, Users can control the root access and can limit certain apps from accessing the root permissions.

    Installed TWRP recovery properly but I am not able to locate the PHH Means the path does not exist. I have even tried by keeping the zip file in root folder.
