One of the positive points of TWRP is its great support for tons of Android devices. The TeamWin project keeps getting better with newer and newer devices added consistently each month. With that, we have some more devices this month that now support the popular custom recovery.

The latest devices include Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL but in an alpha stage. Other devices have received stable support. Those include:

LG Stylo 3 Plus (sf340n)
Motorola Moto G5 (cedric)
Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) (j7popltespr)

Since the Google Pixel 2 (walleye) and Google Pixel 2 XL (taimen) have just received an alpha build, there are some bugs. Users of the latest Google devices won’t be able to back up their phone. Also decrypting and MTP aren’t working as well. Furthermore, users won’t be able to do a permanent install of TWRP on these two Google phones.

Apart from that, other three phones are perfectly fine to use with it. If you do want the latest build, we’ll leave a link below this paragraph here.
