The objective of this app is to allow its customers a fast and convenient payment option during checkout in any of the 73 Starbucks® café’s in the country. The app also customers to earn Stars through a loyalty program when using the app on their mobile device. This makes Tata Starbucks the first major player in the restaurant segment to offer customers a mobile payment option linked to a loyalty program all in a single handy application for your smartphone.
This application is available on iPhone and Android devices, via the respective app stores. Upon downloading the application, you can pay for their food and beverages by scanning a barcode linked to their registered Starbucks Card. You are also allowed to link multiple Starbucks Cards with one account on the app. In addition to payment, you can also engage with the My Starbucks Rewards™ program, earn Stars, track and redeem these, manage your linked accounts and gain access to the latest developments in their favourite café chain.

Apart from linking your cards and signing up for the loyalty program, customers can generate a Starbucks e-card. A virtual card that allows one to dispense of carrying their physical Starbucks cards while featuring a robust system to manage your various linked account, with an option to transfer balance from one card to another with a complete transaction history. Another handy feature of the app is the option to search for the closest Starbucks café in your area.
With the launch of this application, Tata Starbucks hopes to integrate its current 2,50,000 My Starbucks Rewards™ members more tightly into its ecosystem and to streamline their in-store experience.
