The Android Nougat update for two years old LG’s flagship LG G4 is now available for few models. Currently, the south Korean users can get the update through LG Bridge app. Back in the March 2017, LG announced that LG G4 would get the Android Nougat in the Q3 of this year and LG is delivering the update as promised.

LG G4 Nougat Update

It almost a year since Android nougat arrived, still its adoption is somewhere below 10 Percent. Lately, LG managed to roll out the nougat update for its two years old smartphone. But still, this is not a complete rollout/ worldwide release. KDZ images of the update for three specific LG G4 models – F500K, F500L, and F500S were published on XDA developers, which users can manually install through LG Bridge app. Nougat builds for Other international variants are not released yet and may appear soon.

Already, The update started to appear on the LG Bridge app in South Korea. This app allows users to connect their LG phone to a PC to manage the updates and back-ups.The OTA rollout of Update is also expected to follow soon.

LG G4 was announced back in April 2015 with hexa core Snapdragon 808 chipset. It also received positive appraisals for its camera performance, display and sturdy leather back. Considering the time frame of updates, Nougat will be the last major update of  LG G4. Till now, LG officially didn’t announce any list of devices that are going to get Android O, But we are skeptical about LG G4 getting Android O update.
