SONY is expected to debut its mid-yearly high-end smartphone refresh at IFA 2017, Berlin. The models expected to be showcased are the SONY Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact, which have already been leaked earlier. Today, noted tipster @rquandt tweeted out the prices of both the upcoming SONY flagships.

He has given the British pricing of the two handsets with the link to Amazon UK page (now dead). The SONY Xperia XZ1 is going to set you back by £599 (~Rs 49,000) while the XZ1 Compact will come in at £499 (~Rs 40,950).
The two smartphones were first spotted on a Polish e-retail website. This was followed by the XZ1 Compact appearing on AnTuTu and the Xperia XZ1 surfacing a couple days later on Geekbench. Both handsets will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC at their heart coupled with 4GB of RAM. The internal memory on the XZ1 Compact was listed at 32GB by AnTuTu but there is no such data available for its full-size counterpart.
The two handsets also differ in the display size, this is primarily because the Compact variant of SONY handsets always carries a smaller HD (1280 x720) display while newer full-size flagships from the Japanese giant have had 4K HDR displays on board. The disparity continues with the OS out of the box on the two handsets with the XZ1 Compact being listed running Android v.8.x, Oreo while the Xperia XZ1 seems to be languishing with Android v.7.1.1, Nougat.
