Finally the benchmarks of the Qualcomm’s next flagship chipset is here. It appeared on benchmarking website GeekBench where it underwent multiple benchmark tests with a series of results being uploaded. The processor is mentioned as Qualcomm MSM8998 and there is no doubt that this is the Snapdragon 835.
It is an Octa-Core CPU and it ran at a frequency of 1.90GHz for the test. The test device also had 4GB of Ram and ran on top of Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The Single-Core score topped of at a score of 2004 which is not that impressive with a mere 10% improvement over the Snapdragon 821 chipset. The Multi-Core score however was an impressive 6233 which is approximately a 45% improvement over the Snapdragon 821.
It is rumoured that the Xiaomi Mi 6 would feature an under clocked version of the Snapdragon 835 while the Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to sport the fully clocked version of the Snapdragon 835.
