Smartron is a new name in the Indian smartphone industry when it comes to manufacturing phones. However, Smartron was launched in 2014 and the company has three smartphones in their portfolio. Smartron came in limelight last month when the company announced a new phone in partnership with Sachin Tendulkar popularly known as Master Blaster in India. The smartphone was named the SRT.phone. Sachin Tendulkar is the brand ambassador as well as an investor in the company. Now, the company is planning to launch a new smartphone as per the leaked listing on GFXBench.

According to the listing on GFXBench, the smartphone comes with the model number as T5525 and features 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 653 SoC clocked at 1.4Ghz. Snapdragon 653 SoC is coupled with Qualcomm Adreno ™ 510 GPU. However, the interesting details about the phone have been the RAM present in the smartphone. The smartphone includes 6GB RAM, NFC, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat. In the camera segment, the device features a 12MP rear camera with maximum image resolution of 4160 x 3120 pixels. The rear camera in addition to flash and auto focus also supports 4K Ultra high definition video recording. On the front side, the device features a 5MP selfie camera with maximum image resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. The front camera is capable of recording video with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels.

There have been no details about the Smartron T5525’s launch date but the phone has been leaked on GFXBench so the launch of the smartphone may just be around the corner. Stay tuned for more details on the Smartron T5525 as we know more.

    Is that 10 gig of storage or am I seeing wrong? How many 4k videos can you store with that? 1?

      It is expected to come with 16GB onboard and expandable storage but as this is just a leak, we cannot say anything for sure. Stay tuned 🙂
