Well, that has been confirmed now as the smartphone has been launched in China. It is available in three finishes namely gold, black and pink.
The Galaxy Note 8, the recently launched flagship from Sammy was the first Samsung smartphone to feature dual rear cameras. While the Galaxy J7+ was the second, the Galaxy C8 is only the third handset to feature a dual camera setup.
Talking about specifications, the Galaxy C8 sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution. It is powered by an octa-core SoC which is clocked in at 2.39 GHz which is expected to be the in-house Exynos 7870 SoC, similar to the Galaxy J7 Plus. This is backed up by 3GB/4GB of RAM and is available in 32GB/64GB storage options. This can be expanded upto 256GB using a microSD card.
As for optics, Samsung has opted for a 13MP RGB sensor with an aperture of f/1.7 coupled with a 5MP monochrome sensor with an aperture of f/1.9. There is a 16MP selfie shooter with an LED flash unit for improved low light performance.
