Galaxy S8 update

Samsung has just recently launched the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ in the U.S as well as in the other markets including India. The phone has been praised a lot for its gorgeous display and its sleek design. The phone has one slight flaw in its design which is the placement of the fingerprint scanner placed at the back of the phone. Some users of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ though, had some problems on their devices. The users reported that their devices had a red tint on their S8 and S8+ devices which is more than normal. Samsung quickly came into action when the issue spread quickly and the company had already acknowledged that it was a software issue and a fix was coming soon.

Now, Samsung has released an update to all the Samsung S8 and S8+ devices in the U.S which, among many other improvements fixes the red tint display issue on the phones. The update brings an RGB color balancer for the display on the devices so that the users can set the RGB color on their devices to their liking which will address the red tint issue.

After installing the update, the users of this devices will see a new slider that lets you adjust the cool or warm settings. This option is available Advanced Settings for the Display. There’s also another new slider that allows you to adjust the color balance for the edge of the display.

The U.S. build is coming with version number G950USQU1AQDE and it is currently being pushed out as an OTA update on the T-mobile network as of now. The update has a size of around 140 MB in size provides improved color optimization and convenient color adjustment as per the release notes.
