Samsung launched the Galaxy J7 Pro and the J7 Max earlier this month. Now, the company has expanded the J7 line by launching the Galaxy J7 Nxt in India at a price of Rs.11,490.
The Galaxy J7 Nxt is aimed at the budget market and is the most affordable smartphone in the Galaxy J series. What’s special though is that Samsung has not compromised on display technology. The Galaxy J7 Nxt comes with 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with HD resolution. Super AMOLED display’s provide deep blacks and superior contrast ratio.
Talking about specs, the Galaxy J7 Nxt is powered by an octa-core CPU clocked in at 1.6GHz. The name of the SoC is not known. This is backed up by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the storage can be expanded upto 256GB via a microSD card. Fuelling all this is a 3000mAh battery. There is no mention about fast charging capabilities of the smartphone.
As for optics, the smartphone features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. An LED flash unit is present alongside both cameras. The device runs on top of Android Nougat.
The Galaxy J7 Nxt is available in Black and Gold colour options and is sold via Samsung’s official online store.
