Samsung had launched the Galaxy On Nxt smartphone in October of last year exclusive to Flipkart. The device featured 3 GB of RAM coupled with 32 GB of internal storage, now Samsung has bumped up the storage to 64 GB in a minor upgrade. The new Galaxy On Nxt 2017 variant is also exclusive to Flipkart and would retail for ₹16,900.

The Galaxy On Nxt is powered by an Exynos 7870 octa-core SoC coupled with 3 GB of RAM. Earlier it was available only in the 32 GB variant which was expandable via a dedicated microSD slot (up-to 256 GB). The device feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080 x1920) display panel clad under a 2.5D curved layer of unspecified Gorilla Glass to protect against scratches. The camera at the back is a 13-megapixel unit with a f/1.9 aperture and a LED flash capable of recording full-HD video. Selfie duties are handled by an 8-megapixel sensor with the same f/1.9 aperture as on the rear lens. Powering all the hardware is a 3300mAh non-removable battery. On the OS front, the device is running on Android, v.6.0.1, Marshmallow.

For hardware inter-connectivity and to recharge the battery the device has a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. For connectivity, the On Nxt 2017 is a dual-SIM (NANO) device with support for up to 4G mobile bands, GPS, WiFi 802.11 (up to standard n), WiFi Direct and Bluetooth v.4.1. Under the display, a fingerprint sensor is integrated into the home button. The device will be available in a Gold and Black colour variants.

The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt 2017 Edition is on sale at Flipkart for just a ₹1,000 increment the 32 GB variant which makes it a good deal. Currently, there is an ongoing exchange offer providing up to ₹1,500 off in exchange of an older smartphone which can also be availed by buyers alongside a zero-interest EMI.
