Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 has showed up on GeekBench. The Galaxy Xcover 4 will be the successor to the Xcover 3 that was released a couple of years ago. The Samsung SM-G390F surfaced on GeekBench, and this is the Galaxy Xcover 4 judging by its model number.
The device just managed 599 points in the single-core, and 1,734 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. According to the source, the Galaxy Xcover 4 will pack the Exynos 7570, which is Samsung’s quad-core SoC, and it ships with four Cortex-A53 cores, and the Mali-T720 GPU for graphics. In addition to that, this SoC offers support for Cat. 4 LTE 2CA model. This is the first Smartphone to come with this chip. The report also claims that it will sport just 2GB of RAM and will run on Android 7.0 Nougat with the company’s custom UI installed on top of it.
Its worthy to note that the Exynos 7570 only supports displays upto 720p in resolution. This means that the smartphone would only sport a HD display. Unfortunately,we do not know any additional spec info.
It is evident that this is going to be a budget offering from Samsung. Considering the fact that the Xcover 3 was priced at Rs.18,999, the Xcover 4 is also expected around the same price range. With phones like the Redmi Note 4 sporting a better display with a much better chip underneath for Rs.9999, the pricing of this smartphone looks unjustifiable!
