The international variant of the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus came with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. But Samsung started selling another variant of the S8 Plus which had 6GB of RAM and 128GB of on-board storage in select markets including China and South Korea. Later, Samsung launched the high end S8 Plus in India on June 9.
The phone was available for pre-order from 2nd June via Flipkart and Samsung Shop. It retailed for Rs.74,900 and came in only one colour option viz. Midnight Black. This was roughly Rs.10,000 more than the regular version of the Galaxy S8 Plus.
Now, Samsung has cut the price of the Galaxy S8 Plus model with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The price is down to Rs.70,900 following a Rs. 4000 discount. Mahesh Telecom tweeted about it.

However notably, the phone still retails for the old price on Flipkart. The discount can be found only on Samsung’s official Indian web store. Therefore it is not known whether this is a temporary offer or a permanent one.
The S8 Plus features a 6.2-inch Infinity display with Quad HD resolution(2960 x 1440 pixels). It is powered by the Exynos 8895 SoC and comes in 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage variants. It features a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter.
