Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ have been launched on March 29 at an “Unpacked” event in New York. The phone was already leaked several times and all the details of the phone were known to the public already. Though Samsung had something up its sleeve with some features of Bixby which were shown off to public at the event. There had been leaks and rumors of the phone’s Snapdragon 835 variant but the Exynos 8895 variant was hidden until now. Samsung has been releasing all its flagship phones with two processor variants- Snapdragon processor for U.S and other European markets and Exynos Variant for Asian markets including India.

Now, we have the benchmark scores of the Exynos 8895 variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8 compared with the other phones like Huawei P10 Plus, iPhone 7 Plus, HTC U Ultra, OnePlus 3T and others. The results are from the Geekbench Benchmarking site for single-core as well as multi-core and Antutu scores.

One surprising thing to note from the Geekbench scores from the Single-Core results is that iPhone 7 Plus outclasses every other Android phone out there even the Samsung Galaxy S8’s exynos variant. Other than that, Samsung S8’s exynos variant is higher in all the other benchmark scores and this looks promising for Samsung’s Snapdragon 835 variant whose scores have not been known yet. Stay tuned for the launch date of Samsung Galaxy S8 in India which is all set to be launched with the Exynos 8895 variant.
