Samsung has recently released the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8+ smartphones on April 21. Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are the successors to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge which were released last year. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ have been receiving success all over the world. We have also known that Samsung would be releasing the next Note series smartphone after the Note 7 debacle last year. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to be following the same design language as the Galaxy S8 and S8+.
We have now received some reports surrounding the Galaxy Note 8. The Galaxy Note 8 with model number SM-N950 is expected to feature a 6.3 or 6.4-inch Infinity Super AMOLED display with QHD+ screen resolution. The Galaxy Note 8 is also expected to come with Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 SoC and 6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of storage with a 256GB-capable microSD card slot for storage expansion, and the same 8MP front camera with the same 12MP Dual Pixel PDAF camera on the rear plus an additional camera. The Galaxy Note 8 is also expected to have a dual-rear camera setup. According to some reports, the Galaxy Note 8 could feature a 3,600mAh battery along with the expected IP68, fast charging, and fast wireless charging capabilities.
Last year, the Galaxy Note 7 was launched on August 2 with the smartphone available in late-August. However, the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be announced in late-August and the phone will be available for purchase in the beginning of September.
