Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Samsung has recently released the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ . The phone was first launched in an unpacked event in New York. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ have been released worldwide and are selling quite handsomely according to the company. We have also seen reports that the company is planning to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 later this year. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is the successor to the Galaxy Note 7 and we all know what happened to the Note 7. For this reason, Samsung wants to release the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with excellent design and top-notch specs to put the Note 7 debacle at the back.

Now, we have seen a leak which shows the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 from a Weibo user. This images leak reveal the design of the Samsung Galaxy Note8. This images also confirm some of the rumors about the device which are expected from the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. One such rumor was that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will have the fingerprint sensor embedded into the device’s screen, this seems to be true as the images don’t show the fingerprint sensor. The Samsung Galaxy S8 had the fingerprint sensor placed on the back while this images don’t follow the same concept. There is a home button on the screen as the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the device is also likely to be equipped with the ‘Infinity Display’ as seen on the Samsung Galaxy S8. Moreover, the images show a dual-rear camera setup which was rumored earlier.

Previously, Samsung has ditched the home button for new 2:1 Aspect ratio Edge to Edge Curved Screen, which also continues in Note 8. So, this time around Samsung will stick with the on-screen navigation buttons. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to come with a 6.2 inch AMOLED display with a 18.5:9 ratio.

Further, It is expected to powered by the Samsung Exynos 8895, IP67 Water and dust resistance, Iris scanner, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Samsung Pay and all other features of Samsung flagships S8 and S8+ as well. It may come in 4GB/ 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB Storage variants.  The battery capacity will be somewhere around 4000 mAh with Fast charge and wireless charging capabilities. The Selfie Camera may receive an upgrade, mostly probably an 8MP sensor or higher. It will probably boot up Android nougat out of the box with Bixby Voice Assistant.

It would be interesting to see how Samsung implements the Dual camera step. Other top players Apple, LG and Huawei, has already implemented the Dual cameras in their style with either telescopic lens or monochrome lens. Samsung already has one of the Best cameras in the smartphones and adding a dual camera can make it standout, crushing the competition. And the Stylus is always there for the Note series to give the phablet, an edge over its competitors.

Expected Launch:

If everything goes right, Samsung will schedule the launch of Note 8 in Q3 (August) of 2017, as Samsung is following the same trend from past few years. So this indicates that Mass production of units should be in progress by the end of June. As Unfortunately, Last year’s Note 7 has turned down due to plagued battery issues. Samsung seems to be working more precisely on the upcoming Note 8. Samsung needs to take care as even the Latest flagships S8 and S8 plus faced minor issues of red tint on their screen.

We will keep you updated about all the details of the Galaxy Note 8 as we know more.

    Is this a lone voice?….
I would only buy a new phone if the battery were instantly removable…without that the phone is only good for a window shopping experience as far as I am concerned….I would never waste my money on a phone with an embedded battery…and my Note 4 and Note 3 will get very nicely old alongside me and that will be just fine…I am used to big letdowns now from Samsung and lately LG.. ..all others I gave up on many years ago….They might mint billions but my pennies won’t be among those billions
