Samsung has launched a new 4G smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G, at Rs 11,100. This Smartphone has expanded Samsung’s 4G lineup in India. The phone, unveiled at Samsung Forum, will be available in available in white, grey and gold colour variants.  The device will compete with the likes of the Xiaomi Mi 4i, the latest Moto G and others that fall in similar price bracket.

The Galaxy Grand Prime sports a 5-inch qHD TFT display with 560 x 960 pixels of resolution. Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM, the phone comes with 8GB storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

The phone comes with an 8MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP wide-angled front camera. The Phone runs on the latest Android Lollipop 5.1 with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI skin running on top.

In terms of connectivity, the phone supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, 3G and 4G LTE supporting both FDD and TDD bands. The device weighs 156 grams and measures 144.8 x 72.1 x 8.6 mm. The device houses a huge 2,600mAh battery which promises upto 14hrs of battery life.
