Samsung has just recently launched the Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 variant in Korea where the phone has been named as the Samsung Galaxy Wide 2. The Samsung Galaxy Feel, surprisingly in the era of 5.5 inch smartphone is launched for its ease of use with one-hand. The smartphone comes with a 4.7 inch screen. The Samsung Galaxy Feel features a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display and measures 67 × 138 × 8.3 mm in dimensions. It weighs about 149g which is quite light.
For the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Feel is powered by an 1.6GHz octa-core chipset and packs 3GB of RAM. There’s 32GB of onboard storage space available. When it comes to imaging, the Galaxy Feel has a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies.
In terms of other features of the phone, the Samsung Galaxy Feel comes with Android 7.0 Nougat, support for LTE, and water and dust resistance. The device draws fuel from a 3,000mAh battery. The Galaxy Feel comes in three different colors – Opal Pink, Moon White, and Indigo Black and will be made available for purchase on NTT DoCoMo in mid-June.
One thing to note about the Samsung Galaxy Feel is that the smartphone carries the same screen-size as that of the recently launched iPhone 7 variant which also comes with a 4.7 inch display. The company is trying to attract customers who want a smaller form-factor at a reasonable price. Also note that the Samsung Galaxy Feel is currently launched exclusively in Japan and the company has not revealed any plans of launching the phone in other countries.
