Samsung has always concentrated pretty well on it’s mid-range offerings. The Samsung Galaxy C7 (2017) appeared on TENNA last month and revealed a few key specifications. Now as expected, the Samsung mid range device has paid a visit to Geekbench. This implies that the device will launch very soon.
The Geekbench listing pretty much confirms the details we already know. The details we came to know via the TENAA listings seem to match pretty well. This means good news as a dual camera setup is making it’s way to the rear of the smartphone.
As confirmed by TENNA earlier, the smartphone will come with a 13MP + 5MP dual lens arrangement at the rear. This will be complemented by a 16MP selfie shooter.
The Samsung Galaxy C7 (2017) will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display (1080×1920 pixels). The Geekbench listing reveals that the Samsung phone will be powered by the Helio P20 (MT6757) SoC, which is an octa-core SoC clocked in at 1.69Ghz. This is quite strange as Samsung was expected to use the recently launched Snapdragon 660 SoC or the Exynos 7872 chipset.
Backing all this up is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage is expected. It is worthy to note that previous leaks suggested that the device will include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.
