Update: It seems the Galaxy A5 (2017) also started receiving Android Nougat shortly after the Galaxy A7 (2017). The reported build number is A520FXXUBQI5 and the update weighs around the same as the A7 (2017) build. Also, the features are the same. So, all that is left is the Galaxy A3 (2017) and it might also be in-line very soon.
Samsung has started rolling out Nougat to a number of mid-range devices in India. Last week we saw the OTA land for the Galaxy J7 (2016) and the J7 Prime. This week it is getting rolled out to the upper-mid range Galaxy A7 (2017). The handset launched with Android Marshmallow on board, so the update was due.

Since this is an OS update, it will have some heft. The new firmware should soon appear on A7 (2017) units with build number A720FXXU2BQI2 and weigh 1376.35MB in size. The update will feature all Nougat goodies like Multi-window, Quick Settings, Quick Replies, revamped notifications and a good Doze mode. Some features exclusive to Samsung skins will also get installed like Samsung Pass, Dual Messenger and the like.
The update has been released earlier in Thailand a month ago and is now seeding to Indian users. If you can’t see the new update, check manually for the new updates by heading to Settings > About device. Do keep in mind, it is advisable to backup vital data on the phone like contacts, messages, and photos before the update. Further, users should take care to soup up the battery well above 60% before hitting update.
Meanwhile, if any of you guys have already received the update, do let us know. Also, if any of you have already updated then make us aware how the build is working on your Galaxy A7 (2017).
