Samsung Galaxy Note 8

There have been several leaks pointing towards the August launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.  Last week, there was a report that suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would launch on August 23. Now, according to a report in The Investor, Samsung CEO has confirmed that the next Note would launch late in August.

The Galaxy Note 7 debacle proved to be a great loss for the Korean Giant. Many people expected Samsung to drop the Note line and start afresh. But here we are! The Galaxy Note 8 is all set to be released in just about a month.

Underneath the hood, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to powered by the Snapdragon 836 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. It is said to feature a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with minimal bezels. Thus, the aspect ratio is expected to be similar to the Galaxy S8 at 18.5:9. The smartphone will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage variants.

As for optics, the Galaxy Note 8 will be Samsung’s first flagship smartphone to include a dual camera setup on the rear. And since it’s a Note device, the S-Pen makes a return.

Leaks have shown that the Galaxy Note 8 will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack and include a dual speaker system for an enhanced audio experience.
