KGI Securities Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has claimed that the iPhone 8 will have a larger display in the same form factor of the iPhone 7. Ming-Chi Kuo is a very trusted analyst and has been predicting Apple hardware details with a high degree of accuracy for years. This year marks the tenth-Anniversary of the iPhone and Apple might be looking to soup things up.
The current generation of the iPhone features a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display, housing the home button below the display. Ming-Chi Kuo however claims that the iPhone 8 would sport a 5.8 inch OLED panel, thanks to the bezel-less display. The iPhone would house the home button beneath the OLED panel allowing for a larger display surface.
This is where things get interesting! He claims that only 5.15 inches of the screen real estate would be the display area and the front panel would hide the home button behind a bar of fiction keys, much like the touch-bar on the latest MacBook Pro!
The report also mentions that Apple would kill Touch ID and implement yet another form of security like Facial Recognition or Iris Scanning, much like the Galaxy Note 7. This decision however appears to be extremely controversial and we suggest you to take it with a grain of salt.
All this information is valid only for the iPhone 8 which is rumoured to cost $1000 for the entry model.

There will be two more iPhone models the iPhone 7s and the iPhone 7s Plus which would be just spec upgrades to the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus and they will be identical in design to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
