The official announcement of the OnePlus 5 is inching closer and we are coming across a lot of leaks and rumours. Today, massive information about the flagship smartphone has leaked online. An image showcasing the price and specs of the OnePlus 5 has surfaced.
The image showcasing the price and the specs was listed online by Oppomart. We have been hearing that OnePlus would be dropping the number 4 because it is considered unlucky in China. The leaked image seems to be confirming the same.
According to the leaks, the device will sport a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display. OnePlus have been sticking with Full-HD for a while now and it makes complete sense that they move on. And we believe that OnePlus will stick with Optic AMOLED technology.
It will be powered by the highest end Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. Earlier, rumours had claimed that it may come with 8GB of RAM but it seems highly unlikely. The storage sizes are mentioned to be 64/128 GB with UFS 2.1 spec.
As for optics, image specifies a 12MP rear dual-camera on the rear and an 8MP shooter on the front. The fingerprint sensor will be placed in the front. It will run on OxygenOS based on Android N as expected.
What’s interesting is that the pic shows the inclusion of Dash Charge 2.0. Dash charge is the fastest charging technology by today’s standards and it will be interesting to see what the second generation of Dash Charge will bring to the table.
Finally, the pic reveals the price of the OnePlus 5 to be $449 and an estimated shipping date of early June.
