Panasonic launched it’s latest smartphone, the Panasonic P55 Max, in India today for only INR. 8,499 ($132). Currently, its only exclusively available on Flipkart.

The device offers standard specs you get from other midrange devices in this price point. It has a 5.5-inch HD 720p IPS LCD display with the now popular 2.5D curved glass on top. A quad-core Mediatek MT6737 clocked at 1.25GHz will also come on board coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage with OTG support. The device will also run with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System. It will also be featuring a 13MP rear-facing camera with quad LED flash for improved lowlight photography and an ordinary 5MP selfie shooter. The device will also support 3G/4G LTE networks. However, the main selling point of the device is it’s massive 5000mAh of battery.

“The long lasting 5000mAh battery further ensures the seamless functioning without interruptions. We believe, P55 Max will be the quintessential solution provider for individuals in the value-based smartphone segment,” said Pankaj Rana, Business Head- Mobility Division of Panasonic India.

The Panasonic P55 Max will be available in two colors: black and gold.
