We know that OPPO plans to launch the R11 and R11 Plus on June 10th. The company now seems to have gone into high gear with its publicity and marketing of the same. Today, OPPO launched a teaser video for the upcoming R11 series handsets.
In the video (above) which first appeared on Weibo, we can see the company mostly lavish attention to the design of the handset. Apart from flaunting the smartphone’s metal build, the teaser draws attention to the smooth curves and lack of sharp edges. The trailer also confirms that the device is going to be available in at least Black, Gold and Pink options.
The OPPO R11 series of handsets are to replace the incumbent R9 series devices and will come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC onboard. Coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage on the R11 and 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage on the Plus variant. Both handsets have a full-HD (1080 x1920) display with the R11 having a 5.5-inch panel while the R11 Plus sports a 6.0-inch panel. Both devices will feature the latest iteration of OPPO’s proprietary Color OS v.3.1 which is based on Android v.7.1.1, Nougat. The R11 will feature a 3000mAh battery while the R11 Plus will have a 4000mAh battery.
