We have been getting a steady supply of leaks regarding the upcoming OPPO R11 and R11 Plus handsets. Recently we had seen the R11 get leaked from TENAA‘s website and from there a lot of its internal hardware was pinpointed.
Now in another leak, the handsets have had their reveal date been revealed, it is June 10th. This was first spotted on Weibo by a user who had shared a poster which had the date on it.
The TENAA listing and an independent leak a couple days later confirmed that the OPPO R11 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest mid-range chipset, the Snapdragon 660 coupled with an Adreno 512 GPU. The device packs 4 GB of RAM and has 64 GB of onboard storage. The handset sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080 x1920) display. At the back, the OPPO R11 sports a dual 20-megapixel plus 16-megapixel sensor camera arrangement and for selfie duties and video calling features a 20-megapixel sensor camera up front. To power all this hardware the handset has a 2990mAh battery unit. The OPPO R11 Plus differs in the display department carrying a larger 6-inch full-HD display, is provisioned with 6 GB of RAM and a 3880mAh battery unit. Both devices are expected to be unveiled on the same day.
