The Oppo F5 burst onto the scene some days back when HD images from its ad campaign were posted online. Now we hear that the Oppo F3 successor will be officially announced on October 26. There were already indications of a launch this month but now it is confirmed. The Chinese phone maker announced the debut event on its Philippines Facebook page.

The teaser hints that the phone is expected to be a selfie-centric device like the many recent Oppo devices. The tagline says, “F5: Capture the real you”. Not to say that the phone doesn’t have any other selling points as the design is also clearly a standout feature.
If you’ll see the leaked images, the phone has the new trendy 18:9 aspect ratio 6.0-inch display with a metal design. Previous leaks have suggested that the phone will come with a Snapdragon 660 SoC. Also, the images depict the phone to be a single rear camera phone.

The optics at the front will comprise a 16 MP dual setup at the front and a single 20 MP shooter at the back. The mid-ranger should carry an adequate 4,000 mAh voltage supplier encased in its chassis.

It is expected to be available in Black, Red, Gold and Rose Gold colours. We aren’t sure when the global or Chinese launch will take place. Be sure to keep in touch for more details on this story.
