Oppo launched the Oppo F3 Plus in India at an event in New Delhi on Thursday. The smartphone is priced at Rs.30,990 and is set to go on sale from April 1, via both online and offline channels. Pre-orders begin on Thursday itself and will go on till March 31.
The main feature of this smartphone is the dual selfie camera that it sports. It features a 16-megapixel 1/3.1-inch sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and a 8-megapixel sensor. The former sports a 76.4-degree wide-angle lens, the latter sports a 120-degree wide-angle lens which makes 105-degree field-of-view group selfies possible. Interestingly, users can choose what lens they want to use.
Oppo F3 Plus comes with a Smart Facial Recognition feature which supposedly automatically suggests which lens is ideal. The smartphone is jam packed with camera features a Beautify 4.0 app, Selfie Panorama, Screen Flash, and Palm Shutter.
As for specs, the Oppo F3 Plus is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC coupled with the Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It sports a 6 inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and also features a 2.5D glass up front with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The rear camera is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and a dual LED flash. The smartphone comes with 64GB of on board storage that’s expandable via microSD(upto 256GB). The smartphone includes a dedicated slot for microSD and hence 2 sim cards and a microSD card can be used simultaneously. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with its ColorOS 3.0 on top.
Basic connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB with USB OTG support. It is powered by a 4000 mAh battery with the companies own version of fast charging enabled. Oppo calls it VOOC Flash Charge and it claims to deliver up to 2 hours of talk time in 5 minutes of charging.
