OnePlus has officially unveiled the covers off its Limited Edition Soft Gold version of the OnePlus 5. The Chinese company now offers its latest flagship in three shades of Slate Grey, Midnight Black and Soft Gold.
This new colour is not so different from last year’s Gold variant of the OnePlus 3T. The back of the device is matte and the antenna lines take on a complimentary shade. The face of the device is white in colour though.
This new handset will specification wise be similar to the Slate Grey variant of the OnePlus 5 which means; Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. And to go along with this, the smartphone will carry the same price tag as its Grey Sibling which comes up to $479 or whatever regional equivalent. The price in India is likely to be Rs 32,999 not withstanding any extra charges.
The rest of the specifications should also fall in line, comprising of a full-HD (1080 x1920) 5.5-inch AMOLED panel based display. Dual-SIM capabilities but no facility for a microSD card. A 3300mAh battery with support for the company’s proprietary DashCharge technology and dual cameras on the back; Arranged in the manner of the iPhone 7 with one lens capturing regular shots with the secondary in place to provide up to ~1.6 times optical zoom.
