Recently popular industry informer @evleak had released a new image on his twitter carrying OnePlus’s famous motto, #NeverSettle and what looked like a mobile device melting.

Other than this, there is not much information going around but speculation is rife as of now regarding what this could mean. Some analysts see this as OnePlus openly teasing their upcoming OnePlus 4 / 5 while others see it as a new colour scheme for their existing range. If this is indeed the next flag-bearer for the brand, it would be an early announcement compared to their past where they revealed their handset towards the later part of the year.
Speculations are already rife with what hardware is being packed inside the latest flagship killer device, ranging from claims of sporting a massive 4000mAh battery, six or even eight GB RAM all inside a ceramic body, which would be another first for the company. OnePlus, a spin off brand by Oppo to cater to the enthusiast market had broken out on the scene on the basis of their innovative approach towards providing a device with close to flagship specifications at a fraction of the cost. Over the years it has been criticised for having a hobbled retail initiative. The company has stumbled with a couple of its releases and marketing strategies but its last two devices, namely the OnePlus 3 and 3T have corrected these trends and brought them back into the limelight.
With this smidgen of information, we have no choice but to wait for further information to be released with regards to this development and whether this is a new device or just a fresh lick of paint for the old line-up.
