OnePlus is pushing out a major update to OxygenOS for its current flagship, the OnePlus 5. The official update brings the build upto v.4.5.7 and the highlights are as follows,

New additions:

  • Introducing the all new OnePlus Slate font
  • Added EIS for 4k video recording

Updates:

  • Updated Android security patch level to 1st July 2017
  • Updated to latest GMS package

Optimizations:

  • Wi-Fi connectivity improvements
  • Standby battery enhancements

Bug Fixes:

  • Occasional sound leaks in the speakers when using earphones
  • Camera shutter sound bug in silent mode for Indian region
  • Missing sound channels when recording videos

Currently, the company is only incrementally pushing out this update and if you have not yet received the update it should be on your way in the coming days.

As promised at launch the company is patching in electronic image stabilisation with this update apart from the general round of housekeeping.
