OnePlus continues to polish the Oxygen OS software on the OnePlus 5 four months after its release. The fast-growing Chinese brand has just released a v4.5.11 that focuses on bug fixes & lag free interface. The update is rolling out to Canada right now. Many users on Reddit have reported seeing the update already. And even more will see it after all phases are complete.
The most important bug fix is, of course, the Blueborne issue. The new update comes with the September security patch. For those OnePlus 5 users feeling insecure all this time, they can now rest assured. The changelog says that app boot ups are now zippier than before. As it is, the OnePlus 5 already had a stutter-free experience but this will make things buttery smooth.
Regarding the bugs squashed in this update, OnePlus has tweaked the adaptive brightness settings because some feedback complains were issued regarding the sensor. Notably, Some users also complained about Youtube videos being out of sync with the audio. Another noticable bug fix is related to 4G reception is some regions. There are still some few minor tweaks and we will leave a link to the changelog below for you to see if you want to.
