OnePlus has been preparing to launch the OnePlus 5 and the company is already creating hype around its much-awaited phone. The OnePlus 5 has been leaked and rumored several times but we have known for sure that the phone will be launching this Summer. OnePlus launched the OnePlus 3 and 3T last year and the phones have been sold in huge numbers everywhere. Recently, many users had complaints for their OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T having some touchscreen issues. In particular, the users of the OnePlus 3 and the 3T faced a bug in their phones which caused the screen on their phones to flicker. This issue was especially predominant for Indian users.
Now the company has responded to the issue with a hotfix and have released an update to the Oxygen OS bumping its version to 4.1.4. Note that this update has been released to the Indian users only. This update should also include other minor under-the-hood performance improvements and system optimizations which enhances the overall user experience. The release of Android 7.1.1 based OxygenOS 4.1.4 completely irons out this bug bringing your device back to normalcy.
One more thing to note is that, OnePlus is expected to release an update to the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T which would come with Android 7.1.2 Nougat. Make sure to download the update to your OnePlus 3 and 3T as the screen flickering issue has been completely fixed after this update.
