Nokia yesterday sent out invites for an event on October 31 in India. The company has not let out any hints as to the specifics of the launch event. However, industry opinion is that the HMD Global-backed brand will be unveiling the Nokia 7 at the show. If you remember, the Nokia 7 was surprisingly introduced in China on October 19. Another possibility seems to be the entry-level Nokia 2.
Looking at the invitation itself for clues, the invite says it will be “the next milestone for Nokia phones.” The Nokia 7 is a mid-ranger by all means like the Nokia 6 but a bit better. So, it could be that a better specced Nokia 7 is in the offing. Up till now, the old brand has just one Nokia 8 standing as an all-out flagship. While the Nokia 9 is definitely coming, we don’t think it will be seen anywhere on October 31.
