The Nokia 9 was expected to arrive in December 2017. But it looks like the flagship handset may not make the
cut this year. Instead, it will be the first handset to launch next year, Chinese publication reports. Nokia is going to hold a big event on January 19th in China. Word in Chinese circles is that this will be the launch ceremony of the highly-anticipated Nokia 9. Also, the Nokia 8 (2018) is believed to be launching at the same event.
The Nokia 9 has been the subject of many rumours and leaks in the past weeks. Apart from the top-notch specs, it is expected to boast of a curved display like the Galaxy S8. Interestingly, there will be IP67 resistance on board, and a bezel-less display as well. All this meet up to make the flagship a force to reckon with. The bad news is that both the Nokia 9 and Nokia 8 (2018) are not expected to feature 3.5mm headphone jacks.
The Carl Zeiss optics that have become a part of Nokia phones will definitely grace the upcoming flagships too. And that will be a good thing. Unlike the Nokia 9, not much is known about the Nokia 8 (2018). But we expect new info to surface as we head towards 2018.
