Nokia is all set to back a comeback to the premium phone game. The Nokia 9 is a highly anticipated smartphone and a few rumours have already surfaced regarding the phone. According to a new report, the Nokia 9 will sport an Iris Scanner and OZO Audio Enhancement Technology.
As per reports by Nokia Power User, the Nokia 9 will feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD display (1440×2560) OLED display and will run run on Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the box. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone will be available in two storage variants, 64GB and 128GB.
As for optics, the flagship smartphone will feature a 22-megapixel dual-lens camera with Carl Zeiss Optics and a 12-megapixel front facing camera. Nokia has used Carl Zeiss lenses in the past and it has worked out in their favour.
The Nokia 9 is set to be fuelled by a decent 3800mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4.0 Technology. Therefore, battery life seems good on paper. The smartphone will include IP68 Water and Dust Resistance and a fingerprint scanner.
As per reports, the smartphone will supposedly come with an Iris Scanner just like the Samsung Galaxy S8. The Nokia smartphone is set to pack OZO Audio, which is an advanced spacial audio technology developed by OZO spherical camera. However, further details on this technology is not yet known.
The latest offering from Nokia looks really solid on paper and if everything goes fine, Nokia may make a roaring comeback into the mobile phone business.
