Nokia has been having quite a comeback this year after being quite for almost a decade. Nokia launched the Nokia 3310’s revamped version, the company also launched the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 at MWC in Barcelona earlier this year. Nokia does not seem to stop here and now the company is expected to release the flagship phone of the company which is tipped to be the Nokia 9. This phone is expected to come with Iris Scanner, Carl Zeiss cameras and a QuadHD OLED display.
According to a new report by Nokia Power User, Nokia 9 is expected to be priced at around EUR 749 in European markets, $699 in the U.S. and Rs 44,999 in India. This pricing details have not been confirmed yet so we advice to take this with a grain of salt.
On the camera department, the smartphone is expected to come with a 22MP dual lens Carl Zeiss rear camera paired with a 12MP front facing camera for selfies. Additionally, the smartphone is to feature an Iris Scanner which unlocks the phone by scanning the eyes of users, a finger print sensor, IP68 dust and water resistance and “Nokia OZO audio” enhancements.
The Nokia 9 and all the other flagship phones from various companies are expected to be delayed a bit due to Samsung taking the major stock of the Snapdragon 835 chipset for its Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. Nokia 3310 and the other phones launched at the MWC like Nokia 3,5 and 6 are expected to be launched globally anywhere around May.
